Context
Partial replacement and/or reinforcement of 13 pylons in the line 70kV Tienen-Heverlee IN324. This was necessary due to the end of life of part of the line.
Challenges
To combine the input of different departments of Elia as an external agency in one tender file.
The role of hop
Based on an earlier audit, it was decided that a number of pylons needed to be replaced or reinforced. Hop provided the preliminary study and drafting of the specifications. Some possible working methods were proposed with an analysis of the bottlenecks.
