Context
The gas network operated by Fluxys contains several maintenance-intensive passages of overhead pipelines. These are cleaned and maintained in small construction sites. It concerns pipelines along and under bridges, over waterways or crossing a local level difference. Maintenance includes rust treatment, replacement and maintenance of ground passages and pipe supports.
Challenges
Work often took place in remote, hard-to-reach locations. Coordination with various parties, limited site budget.
The role of hop
In cooperation with Mobix Total Solutions, hop supported the organization of several construction sites across Belgium.
